  • Rainy season brings pleasure and happiness with the drops falling from heaven. The season that attempts bringing a cool climate is always commendable. But with very relaxing ambience, you can also be affected with many different diseases.
  • Our body is more susceptible to health issues in rainy season, because monsoon reduces the immunity power of our body. The damp and filthy conditions in monsoon plays a host for many disease causing germs, which cause some serious health attacks like dengue, malaria, conjunctivitis, typhoid, viral fever, pneumonia, gastro intestinal disturbances, diarrhea and dysentery , gets affected with allergies, infections, indigestion problems, so we must keep our body resistant against such diseases. So you must avoid oily food, street food or any type of food that is prepared in bulk else there is a possibility that it upsets your stomach. Thus, you need to be really cautious about the food you are consuming. Go for very healthy food items such as soups, boiled vegetables, multi grain bread etc. During monsoon since you get a cool climate, there will be a tendency to drink tea or coffee randomly. Along with tea, you also must be longing for some fried items.

  • Consume the vegetables such as guard, bitter vegetable, cluster beans, fenugreek etc. Remember to include turmeric in your diet as this helps in making your health fit and away from variety of diseases. 
  • Consume drying oils like corn oil or light oil and avoid heavy oils like sesame oil, peanut oil and mustard oil as they fall in first place to invite infections. 
  • Drink lots of herbal teas, especially those with antibacterial properties. These include ginger, pepper, honey, mint and basil leaves. Excessive intake of coffee and tea dehydrates body fluids so they must be better avoided. 
  • Avoid too much of fish and meat this season and heavy curries and non- vegetarians should go for light meat preparations like stew and soups. 
  • Always wash vegetables well and keep them clean especially if they are taken raw. 
  • You must consume the spices which can be easily digested during the rainy season. Those spices include jeera powder, garlic, ginger, coriander, pepper, hing etc. Not only this, these spices are also very nutritious during the monsoon season.

Junk food which is rich in calories, fat, sugar and salt is much yummier and easier to prepare than healthy food. This food does not contain vital nutrients required for a good health and made up of fried and preserved food which does not remain natural. Moreover high refined sugar, hydrogenated fats, saturated fats, sodium, artificial sweeteners and calories make it an unhealthy food option. Cholesterol and triglyceride level increases by eating junk food which put you in the risk of developing heart diseases and even heart attack. Such a condition also leads to kidney problems. On the other hand health food like vegetables, fruits, lean meat, cereals and pulses contain plethora of nutrients. By eating healthy food your mind, body and soul feel healthy. How to control uric acid by Natural Foods The problem of uric acid is very fast. As the age progresses, uric acid gout, arthritis, is occurring. Uric acid means that food is eaten, there is an imbalance in the blood due to lack of purine nutritious balance in it. By which breakdown of purine causes uric acid.   Regularly take plenty of vitamins C to reduce the level of uric acid in the body. For this, lemons and oranges, sweet lime, kiwi, papaya, strawberries, gloss berry can eat. This will reduce your uric acid level. Consuming Apple cider vinegar reduces the level of uric acid. Vinegar changes the ph. level of blood, It contains malic acid that helps break down and eliminate uric acid which reduces uric acid levels. It should be taken in lukewarm water. Drinking water is essential for health and it is even better to consume its right and maximum quantity.  Harmful acid element is the main contributor of water to extract urine from the body. Drink at least eight to 10 -12 glasses of water throughout the day  Lemon juice will make the body more acidic. It produces an alkaline effect and helps in neutralizing uric acid. The citric acid found in lemons eliminates uric acid. The juice of 1 lime squeezed into a glass of Luke warm water. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. Continue for at least a two week. Food that contains high amount of fiber, Dietary fiber helps to absorb uric acid in your blood stream. Whereby it allows eliminated from your body through your kidneys. Olive oil reduces excessive amounts of uric acid in the body as well as frozen fat in the body. A food containing the highest amount of purine (uric acid) is present. For example, red meat, beef, chicken and lamb have a high amount of purine. Vegetables such as asparagus, flower cabbage, mushrooms, spinach and peas should be eaten in small quantities. There is also a high amount of purine in beans, navy beans, lima beans, kidney beans and lentils. Other food such as oatmeal, wheat grains and wheat bran, wheat bread and even cereals are purine. Alcohol increases the uric acid problem in the body quickly. This leads to the disruption of high level of purine in alcoholic beverages. The breakdown of purines in uric acid normally exits from the body through the urine, this process is interrupted when the uric acid level is very high. Sugar and sweets are high in calories, which is shown to increase the risk of developing fructose rich beverages, such as soft drinks, which lead to obesity. Although these types of drinks do not contain high purine, but there is a considerable amount of fructose - which increases uric acid levels.
